Kota Ezawa’s works featured here all center on the artist’s exploration of art crimes and attacks on art (vandalism). Crime Scene re-creates, through Ezawa’s digital drawing, the aftermath of the 1990 robbery from Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum when 13 works valued at a combined $500 million dollars were stolen overnight. This crime has never been solved and the Museum is currently offering a $10 million reward for information leading to the recovery of the stolen works.
